bswift Launches Spanish Language Site
CHICAGO, July 11, 2006 – bswift, a leading provider of Web-based employee benefits enrollment and administration solutions, has announced the launch of a Spanish language version for employees.
bswift’s new bilingual site enables Spanish-speaking employees to complete their online benefits enrollment in their native language or toggle between the Spanish and English sites. In addition, HR administrators can post translated documents onto the bswift Spanish site and/or generate personalized enrollment forms, confirmation statements and total compensation statements in Spanish.
In the U.S., Spanish has become the unofficial second language with thirty million people speaking it at home. Organizations like Nielsen Net Ratings and Nua Internet Surveys estimate that about 20% of the online population is Spanish-speaking.
“We have responded to requests by many customers for a dual-language site, and we recognize that a large percentage of the working population uses Spanish as its primary language,” says Rich Gallun, President & CEO of bswift. “This is one more example of bswift’s continued quest to continually upgrade our products in response to our customers’ needs, and to provide universal access to our superior benefits and HR technology.”
