bswift CEO Rich Gallun notes that the company’s market leadership in benefits administration, its proven track record of rapid growth, and its dynamic company culture helped attract these experienced and talented professionals. New team members include:
Brett Baker, Vice President, Product Management and EDI Brett Baker leads the management of bswift technology and EDI services leaning on his 18 years of experience growing technology businesses. Founder of Big Game Software, Baker built a company that provided high-volume transaction, data analysis, real-time data processing and content management products to the sports and entertainment industry. Prior to Big Game Software, Baker held numerous management roles with Apropos Technology, NEG Micon and APV Plc. Baker’s diverse experience includes software development, design, consulting, and project management. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioprocess Engineering at the University of Illinois.
Kate Behring, Director, Client Services Kate Behring adds management depth to the bswift Client Services team where she is charged with managing key client relationships and grooming bswift talent. Behring joins bswift following an 11-year career with Hewitt Associates where she managed major customer accounts and ultimately served as Benefits Delivery/Operations Manager overseeing plan administration operations for multiple clients. Behring holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Studies from Northwestern University.
Amy Malave, Director, Client Services Amy Malave also adds management depth to the bswift Client Services team where she too is charged with managing key client relationships and grooming bswift talent. Prior to joining bswift, Malave was Benefits Service Manager and Operations Manager for Hewitt Associates where she managed multiple accounts and handled project management after starting as an analyst in the Quality Assurance group. Malave earned a Masters of Business Administration at DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Bradley University.
Gina Walker, Director, Call Center Gina Walker leads bswift’s Call Center team, bringing more than 12 years’ experience in employee benefits, management, human resources outsourcing, customer service and call center implementation. She held positions of increasing responsibility for Hewitt Associates most recently serving as implementation manager providing education and counseling services to clients. Walker holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Southern Illinois University.
Roger Russell, Director, Information Security Roger Russell is responsible for bswift’s information security, ensuring the integrity of bswift’s electronic data and information, monitoring systems and identifying and proactively addressing any potential vulnerabilities. Russell’s prior experience includes more than 15 years in information security, network infrastructure management, project management, systems monitoring and disaster recovery, including positions as Director, Security at Viant, Security/Technology Consultant for Plante & Moran, and Global Security Manager at Covansys. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art from Northern Illinois University.
